Rebuilding Together Project
This committee manages the annual Rebuilding Together Project. The project consists of repairing homes in the greater Oklahoma City area and surrounding cities. Volunteer Agreement/Release Form and Skills Inventory Forms are due 15 April 2011. To volunteer please follow the easy steps below:

1. Each volunteer must fill out the Skills Inventory Form. You must click "Complete Form" at the bottom of the form for it to submit your information.

2. Follow the link to fill out the Volunteer Agreement/Release Form on the Rebuilding Together Okc. Website. Some information will be redundant and I apologize for this, but currently it is unavoidable.

It is mandatory that the form in step 2 be filled out for each volunteer and submitted prior to participating on workday. If you are unable to submit online please submit a hard copy of the form. (Volunteer Agreement Form Here)

Awards


Manager/Team of the Quarter
The TLDA Manager of the Quarter (MoQ) Team of the Quarter (ToQ) awards are given to recognize dedicated civilian/military individuals and teams whose leadership, commitment to excellence, and creativity are a major contribution to the success of Air Force mission. A Manager of the Quarter (MoQ) or Team of the Quarter (ToQ) is nominated by their colleagues. A Selection committee, comprised of individuals representing various organizations across Tinker, reviews the nominations then determines the winner. The selected Manager/Team of the Quarter is honored at a TLDA Luncheon.

Scholarships
The Tinker Leadership Development Association (TLDA) promotes, organizes and conducts activities to enhance the professionalism of public administrators assigned to Tinker Air Force Base. In support of this mission, one of TLDA's principles is to foster educational advancement and professional growth. Therefore, the TLDA Scholarship Program has been established to encourage and assist ambitious members of TLDA to continue their formal education.

"Why I Like My Job" Essay Contest
Tinker Leadership Development Association “Why I Like My Job” Essay Contest Deadline is TBD

Deadline for the “Why I Like My Job” TLDA Essay Contest is TBD. Express why you like your job at Tinker Air Force Base and win recognition and some extra spending money. Entries must be no longer than 500 words and can be typed or handwritten. Entries will be judged on originality, sincerity, creativity and a positive attitude. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive $500, $250, and $100 respectively from TLDA. In addition, each winner will receive a 1 year paid TLDA membership. You may e-mail your entries to aaron.p.brown@tinker.af.mil or fax to (405) 739-4350 by COB 16 Apr 10. Winners will be announced at the May TLDA Luncheon.
